Very old wine estate since the site includes a 4th century Gallo-Roman villa with magnificent mosaics as well as an old 12th century chapel Possible 1-hour visit by the passionate owner Very good wine and very warm welcome I did a tasting there with friends on the occasion of the 27th Loupiac and foie gras des landes days. We went from domain to domain by bike...!

Magnificent mosaics, exceptional site which deserves to be promoted by the Departmental Council! A big thank you to the owner for allowing it to be saved and showcased!

An enigmatic place, the number of Roman artefacts and remains of constructions is very important there. The excavations have unfortunately ceased but the association of enthusiasts watches over this heritage of antiquity, hot water cold water, garden reception rooms, swimming pool, nothing was missing 2000 years ago. A unique place to visit. Thank you for the visit, to the guide and to his grandson!

Château du Lude

The Château du Lude is one of the many great châteaux of the Loire Valley in France. Le Lude is the most northerly château of the Loire Valley and one of the last important historic castles in France, still inhabited by the same family for the last 260 years. The château is testimony to four centuries of French architecture, as a stronghold transformed into an elegant house during the Renaissance and the 18th century. The monument is located in the valley of Le Loir. Its gardens have evolved throughout the centuries.
