Temple of Artemis, Lemnos, Greece

The temple of Artemis consists of vaulted structures and the main temple with the altar located in its center. Archaeologists have excavated various figurines of bulls and other interesting findings, which prove the worship of the goddess Artemis in Myrina. The sanctuary, which was revealed during the construction of the Hotel Porto Myrina, is located on the premises of the hotel and is open to the public.

Okay guys .... everything on the altar of money .... I have never seen an archeological site inside a hotel facility ..... and someone can not visit it and it is written that he is free to visit .... shame

We went about one year ago (8th / 2018). One star = I did not like at all, Because we never found the temple !! We walked a lot, left of the hotel, but only goats, phrygana, rocks ... How is it possible for a public good, an archaeological monument to be in private property ??? It has not even passed our minds! Thank you for the information...

For some reason the temple is inside a hotel complex. No signs or apparent way to access it.

Was really disappointed by the site, because you have to 'sneak' into the hotel complex just to see the temple. Does the hotel own the site or something, don't get it at all...

There were no signposts along the way and we ended up at a hotel complex and gave up searching for it. A shame really
