Incredibly beautiful cultural place to visit if you’re in the Gabrovo region, so much history but you can feel how peaceful it is. Definitely worth spending the day there!

Lovely place. The Monastery has great history (go and find it yourself) and is such a spiritual place.

The monastery itself is beautiful but all the people selling all kind of stuff in front of it is killing the vibe.

Perfect place to gather both your thoughts (at the monastery) and also your strength (at the nearby restaurant) in a picturesque natural setting. Bonus: there is a local sweets/ tea/ spices shop inside, if you want to get a delicious souvenir back with you.

We booked for a three person room and it was very comfortable. The room was cleaned. We had air-conditioner, warm water (well you have to wait for a few minutes to wait for the water to become warmer).

Château du Lude

The Château du Lude is one of the many great châteaux of the Loire Valley in France. Le Lude is the most northerly château of the Loire Valley and one of the last important historic castles in France, still inhabited by the same family for the last 260 years. The château is testimony to four centuries of French architecture, as a stronghold transformed into an elegant house during the Renaissance and the 18th century. The monument is located in the valley of Le Loir. Its gardens have evolved throughout the centuries.
