A great guided tour by a person well versed in the history of this magnificent castle. What beautiful collections from Monaco and Murano. We took real pleasure in discovering all the stages from its construction to its renovation. Thanks to our young guide for this wonderful visit.

I don't want to give one star but we can't put zero which is already far too much for this place which is nevertheless magnificent but with non-existent managers and a guard, the son of the vile squire. Insult, ban on taking photos of a historical monument anyway, regularly drunk, well known in the village. Places absolutely avoided bad faith, insult and howling assured. Move on and keep the photos in your head. Damage. Exorbitant price for not much and still closed.

Former stronghold of the powerful Castellane family, the castle has survived the centuries despite a turbulent past. Religious wars, sentimental stories, family quarrels, duels, sieges, still haunt the walls of this surprising castle. You will need to book to visit or wait for the heritage day (whose day?). We can't even walk around this building. A couple of birds have made their nest in the mailbox, this is certainly the good news of the season.

This is a pretty little chateau, open in 2024 on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and public holidays to guided tours at 4pm. 10€ adults, free for children. We didn’t go round, since we came at the wrong time.

Closed on arrival, not much to see. The village is of no interest at all. Not worth a detour.
