Near Lisieux, German military cemetery in which lie 3,735 soldiers killed in action during the Battle of Normandy. Right next to it is a small British cemetery. The two are connected by a driveway.

This unique Cemetery has an unusual feature there! a path that joins a British And German Cemetery together called. The Peace Path. The British ww2 graves consist mostly of Scottish Regiments casualties. The German Cemetery has marked graves giving ages of soldiers some as young as 15! As usual the site is a poignant reminder of ordinary human beings, fighting and paying the fatal price for their country.
