The Heinfels bridge is characterized by being entirely made of wood. It can only be explored on foot and offers a beautiful view of Heinfels Castle. In the center of the bridge there is a wooden crucifix, while at the northern end there is the wooden commemorative plaque. The possibility of reaching the place by bus is excellent since the stop is not far away.

Really beautiful bridge well maintained, you can see that they care, it's all made of wood, you can walk along it and it's fantastic. I recommend visiting it if you pass by here.

Historic wooden bridge built in 1791 but well preserved, located next to the Austrian Pusteria road, which now passes over a modern reinforced concrete bridge. He witnessed battles and the retreat of the French army in 1797. At the center of the bridge hangs a wooden crucifix on whose tibia there is the sign of what is said to be a French officer's saber.
