This ruin is somewhat hidden and little visited on the side of the road. With a little leisure you can enjoy a very peaceful atmosphere here and let your thoughts immerse yourself in the past between the thick remains of the wall. Nothing sensational, rather quiet and dreamy. Unfortunately, there is no multilingual explanation on site.

Church ruins, probably from the middle of the 14th century. It is unclear whether this construction was ever completed. Impressive limestone walls up to 1.5 meters thick. The top of the walls is partly plastered with mortar, partly overgrown with moss and grass. The good condition of the "tracery window" in the east wall should be emphasized. According to legend, Gunnfjaun was the grandson of the legendary "Urgotlander" Tjelvar. Quiet place with few visitors. Well suited for drawing and relaxing.

Nice place to stay. Something hidden.

If it's on the track you can look at it. Otherwise it's not really worth going the extra mile

It is such a nice and cozy place.

Château du Lude

The Château du Lude is one of the many great châteaux of the Loire Valley in France. Le Lude is the most northerly château of the Loire Valley and one of the last important historic castles in France, still inhabited by the same family for the last 260 years. The château is testimony to four centuries of French architecture, as a stronghold transformed into an elegant house during the Renaissance and the 18th century. The monument is located in the valley of Le Loir. Its gardens have evolved throughout the centuries.
