It's a shame that it's in ruins but you can visit it and it has good views.

Very nice views of the town of San Leonardo and the surrounding mountains. I have good memories of this environment and the race —when you arrived at the castle, then it was all down to the town. ??

It is deteriorated like all castles but that is what gives it its charm. The entrances to some parts of the castle remain standing. The entrance reveals the majesty it would have had in its time. And the views are beautiful. It is very close to the town, after a small hill. And everything is very well explained on their posters. To highlight something negative, it was full of beer cans on the floor and on the wall. It's worth stopping by and seeing it.

A spectacular and historic castle only 2minutes walk from the centre of the village..or drive up and park on site.

Château du Lude

The Château du Lude is one of the many great châteaux of the Loire Valley in France. Le Lude is the most northerly château of the Loire Valley and one of the last important historic castles in France, still inhabited by the same family for the last 260 years. The château is testimony to four centuries of French architecture, as a stronghold transformed into an elegant house during the Renaissance and the 18th century. The monument is located in the valley of Le Loir. Its gardens have evolved throughout the centuries.
